The Finnish have yet to admit they live in a Nanny State

Imagine a state media columnist that apologizes for the people who want to decide about their body? Or a citizen who is so passivated by their nanny state, that they no longer even want to decide about their own person and their body. This is Finland 2022.

Soviet apathy or Stockholm syndrome?

The government or the lawmaker has no qualms. The citizens body is just a tool for their organization. Marin looks great in photos, and the little people are just property of The State, small cogs that don't get a say.

The ordinary finnish person has no dreams of a better life. They don't even speak about changing this. Or the laws that govern their body.

Now imagine having to live in a state full of people like this: media editors who push Nanny State POV, the media-sexy politicians who routinely trample the freedom to choose about what goes into ones body, and the citizens who are like a novel cross-breed between North Korea and some collapsed African state? All this despite mobile phones and high-bandwidth internets and all the consumer electronics in the World.

Finland 2022

Somehow, its still the 1984 in Finland. The twitters and medias and soviet-era government instruments have amalgamated into unholy mixture of superficial pop-populism and retro-soviet era politics.

It means that you cannot be a free person in 2022. It is just the same as ever, exactly the same as 1984 was, only now the police and government have total surveillance tech.

A nightmare of passivity, alcohol monopoly pushing government media YLE, and power-hungry politicians and officials to whom your body is not a temple, but a cog.

Cavalier Parliament Governs The Body

The parliament with its Social Democrat-Green Party-Leftist alliance certainly looks very wholesome and one would never think these would be the people to ignore the principles of some abstract freedom?

Think again. The parliament of 2019 has absolutely no deep thoughts about the citizens rights or freedoms. The constitution is not on their radar. They also do not need any dialogue: the government is their steeple and guiding light. There is no real dissent or debate.

How the hell did this happen?

I see only murk. The instagram-politicians and feminist-promises panned out to be like what my mental idea of Berlusconi's Italy is, with unhealthy dose of socialist byreocrats wet dream in the middle. I think Mr. Berlusconi knows which representations I am referring to here.

A socialist nightmare. Apologist media who push the Gov-POV and has no idea of what investigative journalism might be - or just mindless lifestyle-identity-garbage.

Apathetic citizens, who can only be free if they are criminals - forced by this soviet era collision of institutions and populism. Herded by the police like idiotic sheep.

Demagogue medicalization normalizing health-officials. Again body is the property of the State - not the person. It must submit and obey! Regards Finnish Health Officials.

It is not a culture of liberty

No amount of money can buy you a way out of this Soviet Era superprison-state that Finland of 2022 still is. The government loves it. The officials think Soviet Bulgaria is perfectly normal. No matter what you do you will be owned by the finnish state, citizen. Spare moving abroad.

Anger lingers under a thin veil, of promises and superficial story about gay liberation and womens right. None of us are free, as this culture doesn't know what free might be. The government sells you alcohol, isn't that free enough? Whats next, you want to smoke cannabis without being subjected to full body search?

Why on earth you expect to decide about your body? Don't forget: this is Finland. People think and live like their body is the property of the State here.
